Texas Certification Pathway
This course is designed to support completion of the SFFMA Firefighter I certification pathway through a structured combination of online academics, practical skills development, competency documentation, and instructor oversight.
Successful completion of the Bexar Safety course does not by itself guarantee certification. Participants must complete all applicable SFFMA requirements, skills, examinations, documentation, and any additional requirements established by the certifying organization.
Students who intend to pursue additional Texas firefighter certification opportunities are responsible for meeting the current eligibility and application requirements of the applicable certifying agency.
